Police cuff and arrest 102 year old woman...find out why

Edie Simms is a 102-year-old woman with an unusual item on her to-do list. And, thanks to some officers in St. Louis, she was able to cross that off, CNN reports. Simms wanted to be arrested -- handcuffed, and placed in the back of a police cruiser.
"She was so excited that she can ride in a police car and she said, 'Do you think you could put those handcuffs on me?'" Michael Howard of the Five Star Senior Center told CNN affiliate KPLR.

Producer Yomi Fabiyi cries out on behalf of Baba Suwe, says NDLEA's alleged torture damaged the comic actor's health

In October 2011, veteran comic actor, Babatunde Omidina, aka Baba Suwe, was arrested by the National Drug Law Enforcement Agency at the Muritala Mohammed International Airport on the suspicion of ingestion of illicit drugs. The drugs were supposedly discovered in the actor‘s stomach as he passed through the scanning machine at the airport.

After detaining him for three weeks without finding any drugs, NDLEA released the comic actor.

Niger Delta: Military will abide with the FG's ongoing negotiation effort with militants

In a statement released by the Defence Headquarters, the authorities have re-emphasised that the military will abide with the ongoing negotiation effort of the Federal Government with militants in order to have peaceful settlement of the Niger Delta problem.

However, while trying to achieve this feat, the military has warned that it would not tolerate "any individual or group taking its good gesture of adherence to ceasefire and peaceful disposition to the impasse for granted."
