Suspected elements of Boko Haram terrorists, scavenging for food, on Monday, September 26th at about 5.00, attacked Kwang village and Vigilantes from Dagu (which is about 4 kilometres from Kwang), responded and repelled the terrorists attack.

The 32-seater bus manufactured by ex-Niger Delta militants arrived Abuja today, for onward delivery to President Buhari in honour of his commitment to the Amnesty Programme and the Niger Delta Region. The 80 former militants who graduated from the Innoson Kiara Academy in Enugu on August, produced the vehicle any supervision.

Court in Oyo State sentence couple to 14 years imprisonment for human trafficking

A Federal High Court sitting in Ibadan, Oyo state on Monday 26th September, 2016; sentenced a couple to 14 years imprisonment with hard labour for procurement and facilitating the trafficking and forcing one Bidemi Adesina into prostitution in Libya.

Justice Joyce Abdulmaleek convicted Mr Idowu Folorunso, 37, and his wife Mrs Titilayo, 35, and sentenced them to seven years each.
