Photos: Four armed robbers killed in Warri

At least four armed robbery suspects were killed during a shoot-out with operatives of the Nigerian Police at the Okere-Ajamimogha axis in Warri, Delta state yesterday September 26th.

According to residents in the area, the suspected robbers who had earlier robbed a church at Cemetery road, were driving towards Okere-Ajamimogha road when a team of mobile policemen sighted, followed them and engaged them a shoot out which led to the death of the four of them.

I will not join issues with Tinubu on Ondo Primary- Oyegun says

National Chairman of APC, John Odigie-Oyegun, has said he would not join words with the National leader of the party, Bola Tinubu, over the allegations leveled against him by the former Lagos state governor that he, Oyegun, manipulated the party’s Ondo State governorship primary.

Tinubu on Sunday released a statement in which he blasted Oyegun over the outcome of the Ondo State governorship primary of the APC, declaring that Oyegun must resign.

PSG/ Ivory Coast defender Aurier given two months prison sentence for Elbowing policeman

PSG and Ivory Coast footballer Serge Aurier,  has been sentenced to two months imprisonment and fined €600 (£521, $674) for elbowing a police officer at a Paris nightclub in May.
The sentence is a suspended two months prison sentence meaning he will remain free and be able to play for his club pending an appeal.

Photos: Coaster bus crashes into bush in Ikorudu, one dead

According to the Lagos State Emergency Management Agency (LASEMA), the Coaster bus pictured crashed into a bush at Itamage, Ikorodu. There was one casualty and the LASEMA response unit has recovered his body. The cause of the accident is still unknown. More photos as you continue.
