Photos: Jigawa State Governor condoles with community that lost 12 young men in a fatal accident

Governor of Jigawa State, Alhaji Muhammad Badaru Abubakar, was in Kanya Babba in Babura Local Government, today, September 25th, to condole with the people of the town over the loss of twelve of their young men.

The deceased young men lost their lives in a ghastly motor accident on their way back to Lagos after the Sallah celebration.

New Boko Haram video is mere propaganda and a sign of desperation- Military says

The Nigerian Army has reacted to the new Boko Haram video which its factional leader, Abubakar Shekau appeared in. The military says all threats made by Shekau in the video should be ignored. Read the military's statement signed by Acting Director Army Public Relations, Col. S.K Usman below:

The attention of the Nigerian Army has been drawn to a video clip released by the so-called Abubakar Shekau faction of the remnants of the Boko Haram terrorists group this morning. In it, the purported leader of the group in his usual insane manner made all sorts of assertions to the point of threatening various towns, groups and individuals. He also tried albeit failingly to deny the air raid by the Nigerian Air Force in which he was wounded.

This lady is accusing her ex-husband of beating her up in front of their son. She made the allegation  on Facebook this afternoon. She wrote:
