Saraki defends his suggestion that FG should sell national assets to revive the economy

Senate President this morning released some of his recommendations on what the Federal govt needs to do to immediately get out of the present economic recession. Part of his recommendations is for some of the national assets should be sold off. Many Nigerians feel this is not a good move and should not be accepted.

George Clooney who is a friend to both Brad and Angelina, says he was completely in the dark about their split. During a live TV interview with CNN's Richard Roth at the United Nations, the actor was surprised to hear about Angelina Jolie and Brad Pitt divorce. Asked his opinion on the news which dominated headlines yesterday, he responded,

 "What happened. I didn't know that. Wow." he added. Upon regaining his composure, he said "that it was a very sad news. I feel very sorry then. That's a sad story & unfortunate for a family.
