Boko Haram attack leaves 8 dead in Borno

No fewer than eight people were killed outside a church in Kwamjilari village, about 30 kilometres east of Chibok town in Borno state yesterday Sunday September 18th. The sect members carried out the attack after the church members had finished their Sunday service. They set fire on homes and destroyed fields of maize.

Police fear terrorist cell is active in New York as 5 bombs are found at New Jersey train station after thunderous blast (photos)

New York Police department (NYPD) fear an active terror cell may be operating within  New York after an explosion rocked a New Jersey train station on Sunday night as police authorities discovered five pipe bombs and attempted to defuse the five of them.
 
The bomb was one of five in a backpack near a station and exploded as a robot attempted to disarm it on Monday morning while a second device - a pressure cooker with wires coming out of it has been removed from the scene.

Graphic Photos: Man allegedly assaults 85-year-old woman, bites off the tip of her finger

A young man allegedly assaulted an 85-year-old woman in Delta state on September 15, biting off the tip of her finger in the process. The person who sent in these photos claims the Police is currently searching for him. He said:
"A young man, Ohoh Iriferi from Eku, Delta state, beat up an 85 year old grandmother at her home in Eku. He ran away to Warri after Youths started searching for him. We are still on the look for him and the matter has also reported to the police." See a photo of the said man after the cut.

Alex Iwobi has talent, ambition and must keep his humility - Arsenal manager Arsene Wenger

Arsenal manager Arsene Wenger has heaped praise on Nigerian starlet Alex Iwobi after giving two assists at Arsenal's 4-1 win over Hull city at the KCOM Stadium on Saturday.
 
According to the legendary Arsenal manager, Iwobi must remain humble if he's to continue in the good form he's been showing since he broke into the first team last year.
"Yes, he had a good performance, and you want him to improve," Wenger told Arsenal website.
