EFCC Traces More Mansions in Lagos, Bayelsa to Jonathan’s Domestic Aide

The Economic and Financial Crimes Commission has traced mansions worth N1.5billion to former Special Adviser to ex-President Goodluck Jonathan on Domestic Affairs, Waripamowei Dudafa.

As part of investigations into alleged case of money laundering, EFCC discovered some properties, which Dudafa had not been able to explain where he got the money to buy them.

Woman Battered By 'Sister's' Husband Cries Out

A 27yrs old woman, Latifat Adeyemi, who was allegedly battered by her uncle-in-law, Rasak Alabi, at Aga, Ikorodu area of Lagos, has cried out for justice.

Last Friday Mr. Alabi allegedly hit the lady with a spanner on her head and face. The picture of the injured circulated online after a family friend Francis Ibirinde shared it on social media.

The Worst Is Over: Nigeria Will Start Getting Out of Recession

The Governor of the Central Bank of Nigeria, Mr. Godwin Emefiele, has predicted that the nation’s economy will likely come out of recession by the 4th quarter of 2016 when the result of the various measures put in place by Federal Government and the monetary authorities becomes manifest.

One of such measures, according to him, is the decision of the CBN to establish a bridge fund for the government to utilise to stimulate the economy whenever there is a need for it.
