Nigerian Army releases statement after declaring Journalist Ahmad Salkida wanted

The statement released by Colonel Sani Kukasheka Usman, Acting Director Army Public Relations, reads
The world is quite aware of the abduction of several persons; women, children and men, including the female students of Government Secondary School Chibok, Borno State Nigeria by Boko Haram Terrorists group. Consequently, appeal was made for their unconditional release by the Federal Government. The military also made concerted efforts to rescue them.

Nigerian Army declares Journalist Ahmad Salkida, others wanted

Ahmad Salkida, a freelance journalist known for his access to Boko Haram commanders, has been declared wanted by the Nigerian Army in connection with the abducted Chibok girls and the terrorist group. Salkida who has extensively covered the conflict between the government and Boko Haram, today released an exclusive video sent to him, which he said confirmed that the Chibok girls were alive but some died in recent airstrikes.

Mother of Maida Yakubu, the Chibok girl who spoke in Kibaku language in the new video released by Boko Haram yesterday August 13th, couldn't hold back tears after she saw her daughter that has been in captivity for over two years. Maida's parents were at the BBOG's sit out in Abuja today.
