The mess of this country will continue until each individual, each Nigerian start realizing his or her function and obligation to the country. Late Ex-President of American J.F. Kennedy rightly said; we ought to think for what we will do for our country not what our country will do for us.

We end up bombing our own National resources, diminishing the pride of Nigeria. We kill our own innocent compatriots just for selfish motive. The Muslims feel the only way to be the majority is to kill Christians, which is destroying the Nation, and the Christians feel the only way they have to be known is to criticize the Muslims, thus destroying ourselves. 

 A common sense should tell us that unity is strength, and there is no war, call it AVENGERS, call Boko Haram that can fight the unity of Nigeria and conquer it.

Kogi Screening Review & Complaints Committee extends work

Kogi State Screening Review and Complaints Committee has released a new schedule for state and local government workers, who have complains or are affected by d screening exercise.

A statement signed by the Secretary to the Committee, Barrister I.O. Alhassan said they would attend to affected workers in Teaching Service Commission (TSC) between Monday 15th and Wednesday 17th next week.

Affected workers from Okehi and Ibaji Local Governments would have their turn on Thursday 18th & Friday 19th respectively.

PDP Leaders finally agree for Sheriff to continue as Chairman?

The crisis rocking the leadership of the People’s Democratic Party (PDP) may have been resolved as the Senator Ahmed Makarfi led faction is said to have conceded to the Senator Ali Modu Sheriff led faction and has agreed that Sheriif should continue in office for three months to conduct a fresh national convention of the party and at a neutral venue.

At a reconciliatory meeting in Abuja attended by some members of PDP Board of Trustees (BoT), led by Professor Jerry Gana, it was also agreed that the party’s National Convention be postponed from the August 17, 2016 earlier proposed by the factional committee and that; no fresh congress be conducted in any part of the country by the party.
