Football star Cristiano Ronaldo and his teammate Pepe on Wednesday returned to training at Real Madrid, a month after he was stretchered off in tears at the EURO 2016 final between Portugal and France.

Photos: Search for oil begins in the Northern region

'We underestimated the damage to Nigeria when we offered change' - Sen Bala Ibn Na'allah

Deputy Leader of the Senate, Senator Bala Ibn Na'allah has said his party, APC, underestimated the damage done to Nigeria by the last administration when they offered change during the campaign last year. Two new cases of Polio recorded in Borno state

Barely two weeks after Nigeria celebrated two years free of Polio disease, two new cases of the viral disease have reportedly been recorded in Gwarzo and Jere Local Government Areas of Borno State.

According to the Guardian, the new cases were recorded yesterday August 10th. Officials of the Federal Ministry of Health Abuja have however refused to comment on the incident which will ultimately dash Nigeria's hope of being certified Polio-free by the World Health Organisation next year.
