Okah brothers to sue Goodluck Jonathan for alleging they want to assassinate him

The Movement for the Emancipation of the Niger Delta (MEND) has released a statement in response to former President Goodluck Jonathan's statement that the group and their leaders,Charles and Henry Okah were after his life. Jonathan in a statement released by his media aide, Ikechukwu Eze, yesterday denied claims of sponsoring the Niger Delta Avengers and also alleged that MEND and it's leaders were after his life.

Orlando shooter's father attends Hillary Clinton rally

The father of Omar Mateen, the Orlando shooter who killed 49 people at the Gay nightclub, Pulse nightclub in June, attended a rally that Hillary Clinton held in Florida on Monday in Kissimmee, not far from where the shooting happened on June 12.

Sandwich worker arrested for spiking Utah police officer's drink with meth

A Layton City police officer who visited a Subway sandwich place for lunch ended up being poisoned by an employee of the establishment. The Police officer was treated for ingesting illegal drugs after a restaurant employee spiked his drink.

Army alerts Nigerians of plans by Boko Haram members to attack FCT, Imo, Katsina,others

Nigerian Army has released a statement alerting the public of plans by Boko Haram to attack some locations in Nigeria. According to the statement, the group plans to attack police stations in Abuja, Kano, Sokoto and Kebbi state while a prison in Adamawa is also being targeted. The statement adds that the sect members are also planning to attack market places in Imo, Bauchi and Katsina state. The statement adds that schools that are presently in session in Yobe, Adamawa and Borno state are also at risk.

The Rock calls out his Fast and Furious male co-stars in Instagram post

Dwayne 'The Rock' Johnson who plays the character of Luke Hobbs in hit franchise, Fast and Furious took to his Instagram page yesterday to call out his male co-stars. He accused them of being unprofessional and 'candy asses'. While the 44-year-old actor didn't mention names, the movie has a stellar cast which includes Vin Diesel, Ludacris, Tyrese, Jason Statham and Scott Eastwood. None of the aforementioned have commented on the post but insiders now say that the guys are very annoyed, especially as there's still a week and a half to go until filming wraps.
