Aid worker, Anja R. Lovén, who rescued a 'Witch child' in Akwa Ibom, shares pics of a Childrens Center she's building in Nigeria

Danish aid worker, Anja Ringgren Lovén, who rescued and rehabilitated a little boy that was accused of witchcraft and abandoned by his family in Akwa Ibom, shared these photos of a Children's center she's currently building in Nigeria. According to Anja, her charitable organization DINNødhjælp bought a very big piece of land here in Nigeria last year and are now building a center in collaboration with Engineers Without Borders.

Thief in Rio has his hand chopped off by vigilante store owner (photos)

Prior to the Olympics in Rio, concerns were high about the city's reputation for violence and crime and it is fast living up to that reputation.
Disturbing video posted online shows a man writhing in pain in the pool of his blood after his hand was chopped off. Details of how the man met such a predicament is unclear but reports suggest he is thief attacked with a machete by a vigilante shop owner.

Tin-Can Island Customs generate N130.76bn in 7 months

The Nigeria Customs Service, Tin-Can Island command says it generated a revenue of N130.76 billion in the last seven months. According to a statement released by the command yesterday August 8th, the Customs Area Controller, Comptroller, Yusuf Bashar, made the disclosure during an interactive session with some stakeholders in his office recently.

Rapper OG Maco loses his right eye after near-fatal accident (pics)

On July 28th, rapper OG Maco, 24, was involved a near-fatal car accident. He suffered multiple skull fractures, cracked vertebrae, a broken orbital, heart palpitations, and lost his right eye.
