Landgrabbers beat prayer warriors to a pulp for invoking the wrath of God on them in Anambra

Some prayer warriors in Anambra state got the beating of their lives this weekend after some ‎armed youths said to be land-grabbers, stormed their prayer ground in Umudioka, Awka South Local Government Area, Anambra State, and beat them to a pulp.

According to one of the prayer warriors, Kenechukwu Nebeolisa, the youths beat them for allegedly invoking the wrath of God on them.

ICPC arraigns surgeon for demanding N320k bribe before carrying out a surgery in Enugu

A former Consultant Cardio-thoracic Surgeon in the Department of Surgery, University Of Nigeria Teaching Hospital (UNTH), Enugu, Professor Martin Aghaji, has been arraigned before Justice R. O. Odugu of a Federal High Court sitting in Enugu by the Independent Corrupt Practices and Other Related Offences Commission (ICPC) on a 4-count charge of allegedly demanding and receiving bribe in the course of his official duties.

The Afrobeat legend passed on August 2nd 1997. His daughter, Yeni Anikulapo-Kuti, took to her IG page to remember him. She wrote;
