British defence chiefs agree to pay £170m for world's most deadly & accurate missile

United Kingdom defence chiefs have signed a £170 million deal to buy the world’s most deadly and accurate missile ever built. The missile, termed 'Brimstone 2' is the worlds most accurate missile and can single out a person from 14 miles away.
The 1.8metre long Brimstone 2 air-to-ground bomb can wipe out a tank or kill a person, leaving people just feet away unscathed or unharmed.

Suspected herdsmen kill three in Adamawa

Gunmen suspected to be herdsmen stormed Thambo village in Girei Local Government Area of Adamawa State killing 3 persons and injuring 3 others yesterday July 13th. The suspected herdsmen who were said to be about 100 hundred in number began shooting when they entered the community. After the attack, they carted away about 100 cows.

Senators from Lagos state release statement condemning Dino Melaye's verbal attack on Remi Tinubu

Senator Gbenga Ashafa who represents Lagos East in the Senate has issued a statement on behalf of Senators representing Lagos state in the senate, condemning in strong terms the use of abusive words on Senator Oluremi Tinubu by Senator Dino Melaye during the senate's plenary on Tuesday July 12th. We can't guarantee the implementation of constituency projects in the 2016 budget- SGF says

The Secretary to the Government of the Federation, Babachir Lawal, yesterday told members of the senate committee on Appropriations, Finance and Ethics, Privileges and Public Petitions that the 2016 budget will not be accommodating constituency projects usually carried out by National Assembly members.

Update: Escaped Chimpanzee safely returned to its cage at Jos Zoo (photos)

Two days ago, two Chimpanzees escaped from their enclosure at the Jos National Museum. One of them was captured yesterday while the second one, a Chimpanzee called 'Jack' ran around, eluding capture. But fortunately Jack has been safely lured back to its cage at the zoo.
According to Plateau News, Jack returned to its cage this morning tired and hungry with bruises all over its body including a missing finger nail. See the photos after the cut...
