PENGASSAN, NUPENG suspend strike

The leadership of the Petroleum and Natural Gas Workers of Nigeria, PENGASSAN, has suspended their strike action. They suspended the strike after a closed door meeting with the Minister of Labor Chris Ngige at the state house Abuja.

The meeting which started at about 3pm yesterday Tuesday July 12th, ended at about 2am this morning. Among issues addressed were undue retrenchment of oil workers by International Oil Companies, bad road networks that affect oil transport workers among others.

Two Chimpanzees escape from cage at Jos Zoo, one caught, the other still on the run (photos)

Two male Chimpanzees escaped from their cage yesterday, July 12 at the National Museum and Monument complex in Jos, Plateau State.One of them has since been caught and safely returned to its cage while the other fled the zoo premises and is presently hiding on a tree around in a residential area. Photos show how an intoxicated Lamar Odom vomited on a plane before he was escorted off

A passenger who was on the same Delta Airline plane with Lamar Odom when he was escorted off has shared photos of vomit stains they claim were caused by the former basketball star. Lamar was intoxicated after taking a couple of beers and whiskey before boarding a flight to New York City, and ran into some trouble soon after he got on the aircraft.
