A woman ended a 2-year relationship after her boyfriend made a statement that embarrassed her in front of their friends and she wants to know if she's overreacting.
The woman said she was out with her boyfriend, his friends and their girlfriends. During the outing, they were discussing places they would go to as part of their "Detty December" plans.
She mentioned she wanted to go to a popular restaurant in Lagos but her boyfriend laughed and said, "with your 35k salary?"
She explained that this caused everyone present to laugh at her and she felt humiliated.
She later told him how his words made her feel but he told her she was overreacting.
She ended up breaking up with him but now wants to know if her boyfriend was right and she's overreacting.
