The President acted outside his powers- Dino Melaye reacts to presidential order for a lockdown in Ogun, Lagos and FCT
Senator Dino Melaye has kicked against the lockdown order President Buhari issued on Lagos, Abuja and Ogun state.

The president on Sunday March 29, announced a lockdown in these states as part of efforts to stop the spread of Coronavirus in Nigeria.


Reacting to the new directive, Dino stated that President Buhari lacks the power to call for the restriction of movement without the express approval of the National Assembly.

He shared his thoughts via his Twitter handle. Read below
