Meghan Markle and Prince Harry snub Kris Jenner as A-list celebrities reach out to be a part of their post-royal life

Meghan Markle and Prince Harry snub Kris Jenner as A-list celebrities reach out to be a part of their post-royal life
Prince Harry and Meghan Markle are reported to have snubbed Kris Jenner and the Kardashian clan from their celebrity A-list squad as they begin their new post-palace life.

The Duke and Duchess of Sussex are currently choosing who they'd like in their close circle of friends as they embark on their new life in Vancouver Island, Canada. A number of TV hosts, filmmakers and actors have reached out to them, including Kris Jenner. However, they are said to have snubbed the momager's efforts to get into their close circle.

"Meghan has been overwhelmed by the number of A-list celebs who want a piece of her and Harry, so she's having to be very careful about who they commit to spending time with," a source told heat magazine.

The source added that Meghan is trying to work out who is best to prioritise after acquiring several meeting requests and big names reaching out on a daily basis.

Kris has "repeatedly tried" to organise a meeting with Meghan and Harry, but the insider says: "There has been some unwanted attention, and Meghan and Harry have decided to distance themselves from the Kardashians for now."

The former Sussex Royal "wants to be friends with stars who share the same values as her" and to "make big efforts in their careers to give back and improve the world" on issues like climate change and mental health.

Meghan wants to assemble an A-list squad that will help secure her and Harry's new life in America, and to "prove that they don't need the royal family to achieve their goals".

Other huge stars who are eager to be on the A-list include Ellen Degeneres and Oprah Winfrey - who want to do Meghan's first post-royal life interview.

Actress Margot Robbie, the Obamas, Beyonce and Jay Z are also said to be keen to get involved.

The couple have hinted to the public at what they'd like to do with their future careers, after appearing as speakers at an event organised by JP Morgan in Miami recently.
