A heartbreaking video shows the reaction of two siblings after they were informed of their father's death in a Syria vegetable market known as the Maarat al-Numan.
No fewer than 10 civilians were killed and more than a dozen shoppers were injured when the fruit and vegetable market was bombed by the Russia-backed Syrian regime.
The Syrian regime have frequently targeted markets in opposition areas during the war with devastating affect. Dozens of civilians were killed earlier this year when Syrian regime and Russian air raids targeted the same vegetable market.
Videos of the aftermath of the violence was shared to Twitter and one heartbreaking video shows the reaction of two children when they learnt they had lost their father, grandmother, and great aunt in the Syrian regime bombing.
The children - Nour and her brother Salem - were covered in blood, having barely escaped alive, and they were devastated when they found out their loved ones were killed.
"Please tell me my dad is still alive. Please be alive my dad," Nour cried in the video.
"Please tell me my dad is still alive, Please be alive my dad." Nour and her brother Salem are crying and calling for their father who lost his life in a merciless attack that targeted #MaaratalNuman market today. The children's grandmother and their great aunt were also killed.

Twitter users have reacted in outrage and are calling out Putin for the senseless murder of innocent civilians after Maarat al-Numan "was hit by a Russian bomber."
