UFC veteran Nate Diaz has taken to social media to show off the horrific eye injury he sustained during the weekend's UFC 244 clash between him and fellow Welterweight, Jorge Masdival.

UFC 244 ended in controversy as the main event between Nate Diaz and Jorge Masvidal was waved off by the doctor because of deep cuts Diaz eyes

          

                

The welterweights met at Madison Square Garden in New York for the Baddest Motherf***** (BMF) belt, and after sustaining the deep cuts, Diaz lost the BMF belt to Masdival as the doctor waved off the fight, saying it was unsafe for the fight to continue.

Diaz has had surgery on the eye, with about 25 stitches needed for the eye..
