A Nigerian man has criticised the local government chairman in Ikorodu, Lagos state over the filthy state of a particular street in the area.

In a post shared on Facebook, Rasheed Fatuga said in September 2016, he posted photos showing the dirty state of Adeniran Ogunsanya street in Ikorodu, with the hope that the chairman would act on it. Three years on, Rasheed shared new photos of that same street still in a terrible state with dirts littered all around it.

While some of his followers argue that the residents are to be blamed, Rasheed is of the opinion that the local government chairman should be responsible for enforcing cleanliness in the area as their are laws that empower him to sanction any defaulter. See his post and the photos he shared below
I posted these pictures on this platform on September 9, 2016 (You can check the date on the screenshot of one of the photos uploaded)
Lamenting the bad state of this junction "Adeniran Ogunsanya Road" Off Sabo, Ikorodu.
Today's date is September 9, 2019.
Up till now, nothing has changed.
And this Local Government has a Chairman with a councilor representing the Ward.
I think the problem with Lagos is that there are laws, but there are no enforcement.
I am very sure that the Late Adeniran Ogunsanya will not be pleased seeing his name written on a street signboard in this dirty environment.
