Description
Reporting to the Head, Ground Operations Audits, the Manager, Ground Operations Audit Standards, is responsible for maintaining and enhancing the global ISAGO standards and recommended practices (GOSARPs), ensuring their alignment with other IATA ground operations requirements, including other industry best practices, as applicable for scope of the ISAGO audit.
Responsibilities
The responsibilities include:
  • Managing the GOSARP revision process and enhancing the ISAGO Standards Manual (GOSM), ensuring its alignment with other relevant IATA ground operations requirements (as specified in the AHM, IGOM, ICHM, IOSA and other IATA documents) and industry best practices
  • Developing new provisions for additional disciplines from the Standard Ground Handling Agreement (SGHA) and incorporation within the scope of ISAGO
  • Developing and enhancing guidance material and other supporting documentation that provide assistance to ground service providers and auditors, such as Auditor Actions, Mandatory Observations, Guidance Material etc.
  • Maintaining the cross reference tables between GOSARPs and applicable industry regulations (EASA-OPS, ICAO etc.)
  • Enhancing the ISAGO auditor training, ensuring the latest developments and improvements are reflected in training material content
  • Collaborating with the ISAGO team members on the ongoing improvement of the audit techniques and guidelines to increase accuracy, reliability and relevancy of the ISAGO audit report, maintaining GOSM alignment with the ISAGO Program manual, auditor handbook and any other audit tool manuals.
  • Collaborating with the Audit Program team members on digital transformation process supporting efficient data driven decision making and building databases for monitoring of CoPA (Charter of professional Auditors) members performance and audit program performance
Qualifications and Skills
Education and Experience:
  • University degree or a significant amount of experience in a relevant regulatory, operational, auditing or management field
  • At least 10 years’ of experience in ground operations and knowledge of ground handling provisions (knowledge of GOSM, IGOM and AHM will be verified)
  • 5+ years of extensive auditing experience in ground operations
  • Previous experience with the ISAGO Program is a preferential factor

  • Excellent organizational skills with attention to detail.
  • Outstanding communication skills including written, oral, interpersonal and presentation
  • Strong proficiency in Microsoft suite of programs, including Word, PowerPoint, Outlook and Excel
  • Exhibit strong cultural and emotional intelligence
  • Ability to interact, communicate and maintain relationships with auditors, airlines, providers and other industry partners
  • Proven ability to lead and manage the activities of a diverse and work force
  • Skilled problem solver with leadership qualities
  • Excellent oral and written communication skills in English
  • Wiliness to work extra time to ensure deliverables are achieved in due time
