Photos: At least 25 killed, 57 injured in bomb blast inside Cairo church, Egypt

An explosion inside Saint Mark's Coptic Ordodox Catheral in Cairo's Abbasiya neighbourhood on Sunday, December 10th, killed at least 25 people and injured 57. Egyptian security officials said the blast ripped through the church around 10am.

There was no immediate claim of responsibility. On Friday, two roadside bombs - one in Cairo and one north of the capital - killed six policemen and wounded six others.
Egyptian security forces are fighting an Islamist insurgency led by ISIS's branch in North Sinai, where hundreds of soldiers and police have been killed. The insurgents have also launched deadly attacks Cairo and other cities.
