Wife
of Kogi State Governor, Mrs Rashida Yahaya Bello has reacted to social
media speculations about her husband, Yahaya Bello's whereabouts. Some claimed
the governor is sick and recuperating at an undisclosed location in the
country, others said he was flown abroad for treatment in Germany,
China or India. Reacting, Mrs Bello said;
"My attention has been drawn to the rumours being peddled about concerns
over Alhaji Yahaya Bello's health, I want to state very clearly to all
and sundry that the executive Governor of kogi state His Excellency
Alhaji Yahaya Adoza Bello is hale and hearty. He is only out of town for
a couple of days to rest and return back to his desk refreshed and
ready to continue the task of leading kogi state in the new
direction.It is good to know that well meaning kogites and Nigerians are
concerned about the Governor but I urge you all to discountenance all
rumours about his ill health and death. God bless the good people of
kogi state. God bless and keep Governor Yahaya Bello"
