FBI officials investigating possible Al Qaeda terror attack planned for day before election

FBI officials are on the alert after reports emerged of a possible Al Qaeda Terror attack in three states - New York, Texas and Virginia next week Monday, the day before the U.S presidential elections. FBI officials haven't yet confirmed if these cities named are the only cities targeted and actual details of a possible attack still remains sketchy.

“The counterterrorism and homeland security communities remain vigilant and well-postured to defend against attacks here in the United States,” an FBI source told CBS News on Friday. Hillary Clinton and Donald Trump will face off on the 8th of November, as America elects it's next leader of the White House.
