Chelsea fans have taken to Twitter to vent their hope that ex-Nigeria international player Michael Emanelo has been sacked by Chelsea after top Italian paper Corriere dello Sport, reported last night that Walter Sabatini could be set to take over from Emanelo as Chelsea’s director of football, having left his post as Roma technical director.
Chelsea fans don't really like Emanelo as they feel he's the one who's
orchestrated Jose Mourinho's sack as he has the trust and 'ears' of
Chelsea owner Roman Abramovich.
They also dislike him due to the poor lack of graduation of youth
players from the academy into the first team and Chelsea's crowded and
ineffective loan system.
According to the report by Corriere dello Sport, Chelsea coach Antonio
Conte is keen for Sabatini to come in and replace Emanelo, and from
Tweets it seems many Chelsea fans are delighted with the change.
