A former local government caretaker committee chairman of Okitipupa
Local Government Area of Ondo State, Niyi Pirisola has been
assassinated. The deceased who was a member of PDP, was killed in the
early hours of today about 3am while returning from a church programme
at his hometown, Ilutuntun. His remains has been deposited at the
Okitipupa general hospital.
Meanwhile the police say they have launched a full scale investigation into the murder.
