Former President Jonathan met with Zambia's only female presidential
candidate, Edith Nawakwi of Forum for Democracy and Development party
yesterday August 10th. Jonathan, who is in Zambia as head of African
Union's head of election observer team, said he was excited that a woman
was running for presidency. He challenged other African countries to
allow women run for such positions. This morning he visited various
polling stations were voting is ongoing for the presidential election.
