Dozens of cyclists taking part in one of the biggest cycle
races in Asia crashed after a pedestrian decided to cross the road
directly in front of them. People's Daily Online reports that the
Cyclists were participating in the Tour of Qinghai Lake in western China
on July 17 when the pedestrian appeared and started crossing the road
one mile from the finishing line.
The riders at the front were able to
escape hitting the man but the cyclists behind him were not so lucky as
one rider hit the man, crashing to the floor and causing a domino like
effect throwing riders to the floor and from their bicycles.
Following the crash which left six of the participants
