The immediate past National Chairman of the Peoples Democratic
Party (PDP) Senator Ali Modu Sheriff this morning reported to the National
Headquarters of the party at Wadata Plaza, Abuja to "commence his
official business". He was prevented from gaining entrance by security
operatives, claiming a directive from the IG said that nobody should be
allowed to enter the compound.
While addressing the
press, he said as far as the court judgement in his hand indicated that
he remains the NC, any other person claiming what ever position is
illegal, and that the constitution of the PDP does not recognise any CTC
in that case.
