Photos: Ondo State Gov. Olusegun Mimiko packs refuse in Akure as workers protest non-payment of salaries

While Ondo State civil servants were protesting their 5 months unpaid salaries yesterday, Governor Olusegun Mimiko, along with some members of his cabinet were busy packing and clearing heaps of refuse abandoned at Oja Oba, Akure.

Addressing people after the environmental exercise, he lamented over the dwindling federal government allocations being received by the state. He appealed to workers to show understanding with the government on the need to return to their duty post in the interest of development. See more photos below...
